Walk for Harmony

Dear colleagues
As you may be aware, the Premier is leading a community walk next month to reaffirm our commitment to our multicultural community.
As such, I am writing to invite your organisation to join the Walk for Harmony to show your support for Victoria’s cultural and religious diversity.
Now is the time to highlight to a national and international audience that our commitment to multiculturalism is stronger than ever and that the Victorian community values the contributions that people from around the world have made to our State.
I call on you to join the Premier for this important display of unity to the rest of the world.
The Walk will commence on Sunday 12 July at 1:00pm at the Carlton Gardens, travel along La Trobe and Swanston Streets and finish at Federation Square.
At the conclusion of the Walk, participants will hear from our speakers and enjoy an exciting musical performance.
Please feel free to bring banners that display your organisation's commitment to community harmony.
Attached below you will find a link to a message from the Premier, a postcard flyer to distribute along with a website button should you choose to promote the walk via your organsation's website.
