The Buddhist Council of Victoria (BCV) represents all Buddhist Traditions and supports many projects that raise awareness of Buddhist values and practices in our society.
The BCV is planning a film festival to raise funds for Buddhist Education and Prison Chaplaincy programs in Victoria; and to promote Buddha Dharma to the wider Victorian community.
We are proud to be co-presenting many films with the International Buddhist Film Festival; (IBFF)and gratefully supported by the Victorian Multicultural Commission among other kind donors.
This event will run from 27th October to 2nd November 2008 at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, at Federation Square, Melbourne. Australia.
In addition to award winning film screenings, there will be Q&A sessions with Buddhist Sangha and speakers, as well as featuring Japanese traditional Buddhist Tea ceremonies.
